Golf: Dons Fall to 18th After Promising Start

On the final day of the Goodwin Invitational in Stanford the Dons put up the best numbers that they had all weekend, but it was not enough to elevate them to the podium. Out of 24 different teams the Dons ended up finishing in 18th place, junior Sebastian Crookall-Nixon led the Dons in individual rankings with his 24th place finish. Womens basketBALL: USF Ends Season On High Note

The Dons closed out the 2015 regular season with two wins at home. On Saturday USF faced off against Pacific who they beat handily by a score of 91-79. men’s Basketball: Dons Return Victorious From SoCal Road Trip

The Dons came out on top over Pepperdine in a low-scoring brawl that ended with USF just two points ahead, 56-54. The team traveled to Malibu, Calif. for the match which featured three different Dons scoring in double digits. Junior guard Tim Derksen’s 19 points were the highest of the three and he tacked on three assists and two steals as well. Dons Rise Against Portland, Fall to Gonzaga

Despite five different Dons putting up double digits in the points category during the womens basketball game on Saturday, they were unable to overcome Gonzaga, who beat them in a grueling four overtime game by a score of 84-91.
